First, innovation must be addressed in all its forms, whether technological, organizational or societal. Second, understanding innovation from this perspective requires an interdisciplinary approach (economics, management, sociology, design, law, ergonomics, linguistics). Lastly, the Institute’s scientific tradition has developed in contact with stakeholders (companies, public organizations, non-profit organizations). At the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, I3 activities are carried out within the Management Research Center and the Economic and Social Sciences Department of Telecom Paris.
